Linda Pavlik

President and Founder

Linda Pavlik brings more than four decades of expertise as a communications specialist. As founder and president of Pavlik and Associates, a Fort Worth-based firm, she has built a reputation for excellence in public and corporate engagement, fostering collaboration between public and private sectors, and shaping public policy. 

 

Her strengths include consensus building and research facilitation, particularly in complex matters such as land use, environmental issues, and community sustainability. Over the years, she has worked with cities, counties, the North Central Texas Council of Governments, the State of Texas, the Greater Fort Worth Builders Association, the Texas Association of Builders, the American Osteopathic Medical Association, and other organizations.

 

Before establishing Pavlik and Associates, Linda served as vice president and general manager of another Texas-based public relations firm. She also had an accomplished career as a news reporter for The Daily Oklahoman, Dallas Times Herald, and Fort Worth Star-Telegram, where she was twice nominated for a Pulitzer Prize and received numerous state and national awards for investigative reporting and public service. Additionally, she published a community newspaper for over five years.

A Distinguished Alumna of the University of Oklahoma’s College of Journalism and Mass Communications, Linda has been recognized as one of Fort Worth’s most influential people for five consecutive years. She has also been honored as:

  • Outstanding Woman in the Workplace by the Fort Worth Commission on the Status of Women

  • One of Tarrant County’s Most Influential Businesswomen by The Business Press

  • Recipient of the Juneteenth Freedom Seeker’s Award

  • YWCA Leadership Award Winner

Linda’s deep commitment to community service spans decades. She currently serves as president of the Board of Directors for Women in the Environment, a regional advocacy group, and is Board Member Emeritus of Amphibian Stage Productions. She also manages the Open Government portfolio for the League of Women Voters of Texas. Her past leadership roles include:

  • Vice President, Tarrant County Hospital District Board of Managers – spearheaded the creation of the county’s first satellite pediatric clinic

  • President, YWCA of Tarrant County

  • President, Communities in Schools

  • Founding Director, Hearing Health Institute

  • Director & Secretary, North Texas Area March of Dimes

  • Past Director, Altrusa Club of Fort Worth

  • Past President & Second Vice President, Fort Worth Chapter, Society of Professional Journalists

  • Charter Member, Fort Worth Chapter, Public Relations Society of America

  • Past Secretary, Texas Association of Business, Tarrant County
