Texas Blossoms

Rebranding, Event Coordination/Promotion, and Media Strategy 2023 - 2024

Client: Texas Blossoms

Background Info

Texas Blossoms is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to planting and maintaining blossoming trees in historically underserved public spaces—bringing beauty, environmental value, and economic potential back to neighborhoods across Texas.

Formerly known as Eastside Blossoms, the organization engaged Pavlik and Associates in 2023 to lead a full rebranding initiative and coordinate the return of its signature fundraising gala, Back In Bloom.

The Challenge

With a new name and a bigger vision, Texas Blossoms needed a refreshed brand that honored its Fort Worth roots while positioning it for statewide expansion. At the same time, the organization sought to energize donors, expand visibility, and reintroduce its mission to the public through a high-impact fundraising event.

This wasn’t just about changing perceptions—it was about building momentum.

That meant:

  • Developing a brand that reflected statewide aspirations

  • Telling a compelling story across platforms and audiences

  • Executing a mission-aligned gala on a lean nonprofit budget

  • Securing media attention and community engagement that could grow

Our Approach

Pavlik led a comprehensive communications strategy—from identity development to public relations execution. We created a new name, visual identity, and website that captured the organization’s purpose and potential.

To relaunch its signature event, we coordinated event details, print and digital promotions, and meaningful programming, including the screening of an award-winning environmental film. We also secured media coverage with CW33’s Inside DFW and the Fort Worth Report, helped place a board member on television, and collaborated with local influencers to broaden reach and drive attendance.

To promote sustainability and reinforce the organization’s mission in a tangible way, we designed a custom promotional item printed on wildflower seed paper. Once attendees were done with it, they could plant the paper and watch it bloom—literally growing the Texas Blossoms message. Distributed at events like the City of Fort Worth’s Earth Day celebration, the seed paper connected people to the nonprofit’s purpose in a lasting, memorable way.

The Impact

  • Website Engagement: Unique visitors increased nearly 500% in three months compared to the full prior year
